One important thing about The Mary Dickerson Memorial Libary is in 1913, Mrs. Josephine Allensworth purchased the towns first school building. The reason that is important is because the children in
the town could now get an education. She also had a libary. The reason that was important so they the people and the students can check ou books and expand there vocabulary.! She had dedicated the libary to her mother. The reason that is important cuz tht shows that she really cared about her mother. Then in 1914 something bad happened there leader Colenel Allensworth was crossing the street to preach at a near by church when two women in a motorcycle struck him. After his deaththe strugle to stay alive became more difficult, a failing in water became harder for them to live.
